1. Acceptance
By installing or using the Hugging Fit browser extension, or by visiting the hugging.fit website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the extension.
2. License
Hugging Fit's source is released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the source subject to the conditions in the license text shipped with the source repository.
3. No warranty
The extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. The fit / VRAM / runtime / quant calculations are estimates based on file metadata and standard quantization formulas. They may be wrong. Do not rely on them for production capacity planning, regulatory decisions, or anything where being wrong matters.
4. Limitation of liability
In no event will the authors of Hugging Fit be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of, or inability to use, this software — including but not limited to out-of-memory crashes, downloaded files, billing from cloud providers, lost time, or model files that don't run as advertised.
5. Independence
Hugging Fit is an independent third-party utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hugging Face Inc., its subsidiaries, or any of the runtimes / apps it detects (vLLM, llama.cpp, Ollama, LM Studio, Jan, MLX, Draw Things, DiffusionBee, Docker, Lemonade, TGI, SGLang, ExLlamaV2, Transformers, Diffusers, etc.). All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Hugging Face's terms still apply
The extension reads from and writes to your own browser only. When it issues HTTP requests to huggingface.co on your behalf, those requests are subject to Hugging Face's own terms of service and rate limits. We do not modify, route around, or amplify those requests beyond what the user-initiated action requires.
7. Downloads
The download button hands a URL and target path to your browser's standard download API. The files come directly from Hugging Face. We do not host, mirror, or relicense any model. The license of any model you download is determined by the model author and is shown on the model's Hugging Face page.
8. Modifications to the service
We may update or discontinue the extension at any time. We may change these terms; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the primary author, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
